year 2007 last road trip

Few months back, dessy, Tammy, Zt and I came drove drown to wollongong and had lunch at this cafe. The pasta was so good, that back then we decided that we should come back again. So on 28th, the party of four drove back down here to have their pasta once again.


In the local newspaper, we read that there is a market at the local temple and thus decided to drive here for a look



I brought a turnable ring with inscription that read "OM MANI PADME HOM" that mean, "THE HIGHEST BLESSING OF PEACE, HAPPINESS, PROTECTION AND GOOD HEALTH"
Following that we drove to KIAMA to see the blowhole






The blowhole is "broken" probably because it is low tide, but the place is beautiful. The blowhole look more like something else as well...LOL....

boxing day turkey, my first atempt

ZT got a big big turkey around 5kg from bing lee, the electric shop when he brought a new washing machine. So i tried to bake it and after days of looking at different recipes, i decided to combine two different recipes and made this wonderful looking turkey dish. The potato salad was made by dessy.

I invited Dessy, Tammy and Tina over , YY was busy thus she could not come, Mac and lo were busy too. ZT invited Edward and wife over and the seven of us could not even finish half the turkey.

new apartment, part II

Pebble and Koco feeling at home at the new place
The main entry, toward the left is the toilet, followed by laundry area and then the storage room

The kitchen is at the bac, where the red wall is located

the BIG BIG balcony area for koco, her doggy house in located here, but plenty of space to move around
my first home cook meal in days, as well as to test out my new kitchen
Dessy came to help me and ZT move and Tammy and YY came later to help.

I got my keys to my new apartment yesterday afternoon before going to Bondi Junction to purchase a new washing machine and trying to connect a residential phone line so that I could get internet ASAP for Guild War. After that brought pebble and koco to the doggy park next to the apartment for them to social around J

The park was great, with lots of dogs and they look clean compared to those in inner west. However, the dog’s owners do not socialize around like the inner west…LOL….

In addition, my new neighbours are not very friendly, they do not greet or smile or anything, just give me a “what are u doing here look” L

I might try to win them over after I move in…LOL…

Anyway, in line with YY house warming, we have the same pizza that she ordered for her house warming party and that is provided by Dessy and Tammy…YUMMM and a big Thank you for feeding both ZT and I.

We had mascato wine and some beers before we calling it a night.

Oh before i forget, to page for me at my new apartment, u have to press the cancel button a few times before pressing 2101 and press the call button. Also we have vistors parking inside the building as well but i think some resident are using it as their parking :(
but there are heaps of 4h parking around the block and they are free parking after 6pm.

CCIA group lunch

Went to MD/ET/PP group lunch at a very posh restaurant that a two course meal cost 48 dollor. But on top of that, lots of good wine and also coffee at the end. I have over 4 glasses of wine.

I got a new HOME

Hi some of your guys and gals might have known that I recently purchased a one bedroom apartment in zetland. Currently waiting to get the keys and hopefully before christmas. Since i have not moved in yet, so i dont have pictures to show. The picture above was obtained from the internet and the top right where the arrow is pointing is the unit that i purchased :)

Beowulf 3D in Imax

Been in Sydney for over Seven years and have never watch a movie or show in Sydney Imax, hence was really excited when the gang won tickets for the movie Beowulf sneak preview at Imax :)
After that we walk to chinatown for noodles, Yumm...
